The Girl Who Cried Her Lover to Death

There once was a girl who couldn't stop crying, no matter how hard she tried.  It happened when her lover said he was leaving her, without any good reason.  As soon as he saw how much pain he'd caused he regretted doing it, because he could finally see how much she really loved him.  He tried to calm her down by saying he still wanted her, but she kept on crying, saying she didn't believe him anymore.  She cried and cried and soon the whole floor became wet with her tears.  She cried so much that a river poured from her eyes and fell off her cheeks, like a waterfall.  She cried powerfully, mournfully, mercilessly.  All the water in all the land seemed to spring from her tear ducts, splashing onto the ground in painful bombs of release.  Each tear that fell resembled a happy memory she had of them together, carried away by the medication of sadness.  She cried so much that he struggled to break himself free of the flood, while she, who sat on a chair, was lifted over the waves as if she'd been sitting on a boat.  He drowned his life away in her sufferings, her mournful memories, her endless river of tears.
