There it is again, I felt it today,
That sweet summer wind, leading me astray,
Every year it greets me, on a gentle spring day,
Soothing me with peace, calming in its way.
It calls me to the window, loftily to gaze
Out upon the polished sky, eager to amaze,
Where it travels on, into a sunset ablaze,
Fading out in embers, winding through the haze.
Past time, over the rim, out yonder the bridge
My eyes peer over the seasonal ledge,
In merry times the Beltane wishes I pledged
My serenity blown through years of knowledge.
