Second Anniversary (November Morning)

Trees bare the eye of morning retrieves
Thick ghostly mist that carpets the leaves,
Pink streaks parting the sky in rows
Permeating the haze like roses that glow.

Two years I've loved you, two years of peace,
You slipped in my soul with the greatest of ease,
Two lights that guide each other in faith,
Two hearts entwined on November the eighth.
